ACWF, Yili Group Send Love to Left-behind Children

Recently, the Organizing Committee of the National Community Care Campaign under the All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF) and Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. held a get-together for left-behind children with their parents, to mark the upcoming International Children’s Day.

'Left-behind children' refers to children whose parents have left their homes to find better paying jobs in cities.

The parents cherished the opportunity of spending time with their children very much. During the activity, the children and parents watched the music drama Love Me Once More, Mom together.

This activity is sponsored by the charity project-Yili Ark, which was founded in 2012 to promote children’s security education. Since its foundation, the project has set security contingency plans for local schools in 16 provinces and municipalities. It is reported that this project will cover 22 provinces, cities and autonomous regions this year, as well as continue to conduct training, visits, and security drills, carry out a safety lesson design contest, set up volunteer recruitment platforms and establish a safety work alliance.
