MONGOLIAN SHORT FILM GOES TO USA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A short film "Prohibited", the winner of 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) in Mongolia, will be screened at Filmapalooza, the project’s annual screening and awards weekend in New Oreland, USA on November 1-4.

The short film by "Hengereg" Entertainment won almost all nominations of the contest, including the best acting, adaptation, and production at this fourth project in Ulaanbaatar on October 19.

The 48HFP is an international competition where filmmakers have just a weekend (three days total) to write, produce, and edit their short films using a character, prop, line of dialogue, and genre that they receive through the National Film Challenge site.

The winning films from the 120 world cities will screen at Filmapalooza, where filmmakers from around the world meet to celebrate the best 48 hour films of the year.
