Employment for crime victims

The Minister of Labor adopted a regulation for the “Employment of human trafficking victims and occupational training service”. According to the Law of Criminal Procedure, this regulation applies to unemployed working-age Mongolian citizens whose rights and interests were violated as a result of a human trafficking crime.

Victims of crime can attend a vocational training course to put them on the road to employment. The ministry will also focus on respect, battling discrimination, and protection of privacy, as they organize training courses that are in keeping with employer’s requirements but meet demands for courses that are meaningful to their students.
