Artist J.Gerel restored his pink bunnies

Artist J.Gerel transformed tree stumps by carving them into pink bunnies with aggrieved and anguished faces. The artist felt sorry about human activity destroying the forest, so decided to help the trees to express how they feel and how they suffer by human hands.

This fight has been expressed with large scale installation art as a precaution for people. There are almost 12000 stumps on Gachuurt mountain where J.Gerel chose to do the installation land art. Once the mountain was covered with thick forest but was destroyed by illegal log-men.

The artist promised himself to crave 2500 pink bunnies on stumps. He carved those bunnies under the project of Lit Candle. So far the artist J.Gerel has restored 600 punk bunnies.

Unfortunately these crying bunnies were attacked again. Some of the bunnies’ ears and heads were cut and only a few were left undamaged.
