Roving Exhibition Showcases History of Ulaanbaatar

On the 373rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ulaanbaatar City, the Ulaanbaatar City Museum organized an outdoor roving photographic exhibition last week. The exhibition was shown in several locations throughout the city. The organizers stated “It was decreed to engage the citizens in the celebrations. We are organizing this roving exhibition to inform as many people as possible about the history of the city.”

The exhibition display included photographs, showing the development and growth of Ulaanbaatar for the last 80 years, as well as construction projects completed within the city. Photos compared today’s skyline to the past were also exhibited.

The exhibition was shown in front of the Beatles Monument on Tserendorj Street on last Thursday, in the 3rd and 4th Districts on last Friday, Narantuul Market on Saturday and in Sukhbaatar Square yesterday.
