“Nomads Tour 2012” to be organized
The Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism is organizing a winter tour called “Nomads Tour 2012” for children and youth. The tour aims to introduce children and young people to Mongolia’s natural sights, wildlife, and landscape. On the tour, participants can see the sun rising on the first day of the year of the dragon at the Chinggis Complex of Jenko Tour in Tuv aimag. Participants can also watch art performances at the Chinggis Complex.
Also, an “ice party” will be organized in Khatgal soum of Khuvsgul aimag on March 2 and 3. There will be competitions, skating, and a horse-sled race.
An “eagle party” will be organized by Tsagaan Shonkhor Holding in Ulaanbaatar on March 5. Eagle owners with their tamed birds from Bayan-Ulgii aimag will take part in the party.
The second part of the tour will feature a “camel party” at Bulgan soum of Umnugobi aimag on March 6 and 7. There will be a parade of camels, a camel race, and other entertainment.
