Kazakhstan, Mongolia’s Gold Reserves Increased in December, IMF Data Show

Kazakhstan raised its gold reserves by 3.1 metric tons in December to 76.7 tons, according to data on the International Monetary Fund’s website.

Mongolia’s gold reserves increased by 1.2 tons to 3.5 tons, and Ukraine’s gold holdings climbed by 0.1 ton, the data show. Mexico cut its bullion reserves by 0.2 ton and Mauritius reduced them by 0.1 ton, the data show. Global holdings of the metal advanced 66.6 tons in November from a month earlier to 30,877 tons, the IMF data show.
