UNEMPLOYMENT, INSURANCE AND HDF IN FIGURES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The number of unemployed reached 62.7 thousand at the end of November, 2011, reflecting an increase of 22.1 thousand people or 54.4 per cent against the previous year.


In the first 11 months of 2011, 629.5 thousand people were registered as insured, of which 411.6 thousand or 65.4 per cent were from establishments, and 217.9 thousand or 34.6 per cent from the government budgetary organizations.

Compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of insured increased 72.8 thousand or 13.1 per cent, of which the increased by 68.9 thousand or 20.1 per cent were from establishments, and increased by 3.8 thousand or 1.8 per cent--from government budgetary organizations.

Social welfare pensions and benefits were allocated to 56.8 thousand people, increasing 1.1 thousand people or 2.0 per cent, a total amount of the funds allocated went up by MNT 7.5 billion or 30.2 per cent against the previous year.

Some MNT 667 billion were distributed to 2.7 million people at duplicated number from the Human Development Fund.
