AMBASSADOR OF FRANCE AWARDED A MONGOLIAN TITLE

The title of Foremost Cultural Worker of Mongolia has been bestowed upon Mr. Jean-Paul Dumont, the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of France to Mongolia.


As such recognized his contribution to the development of the cultural and humanitarian collaboration between our countries.

The Minister of Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar granted onTuesday the title to Mr. Dumont at his farewell reception. “I feel sad because time has come to return home leaving my friends and colleagues,” Mr. Dumont said. He pointed out that highlight events took place within his office term such as the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations, the visit of Mrs. Anne-Marie Idrac, the French Minister of State for foreign trade to Mongolia, also the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation of nuclear energy sphere, and Mongolian Speaker’s visit to France. The ambassador expressed his thanks to the state leaders of Mongolia and authorities of the Foreign Ministry for supporting him, and hoped that new opportunities of the bilateral ties and collaboration will develop further.
