CW-GP to send 200,000 letters to citizens

The Civil Will and Green Party announced on Thursday that it intends to send letters to 200,000 citizens to present the party’s platform and to solicit opinions.

CW-GP head D.Enkhbat, deputy head S.Oyun, and secretary general G.Gankhuu said the letters will be mailed to countryside residents and sent by e-mail to residents of Ulaanbaatar.

Recipients will be asked what problems they think the country is facing and what policies should be implemented for development. The CW-GP will then issue a summary of all the replies it receives.

The letter says the CW-GP was established to be an honest and healthy force in Mongolian politics, and that the current holders of power have mismanaged the country. The letter also says a healthy new force is needed in politics, one that is part of a new generation and free of corruption. It goes on to say that each and every citizen should have a role in deciding the country’s future.
