VISIT OF CPC SENIOR OFFICER STARTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ An official visit of Zhou Yongkang, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Secretary of CPC Central Political and Legislative Committee began on Wednesday, August 24 to Mongolia. The same day, Mr. Yongkang held individual and expanded talks with the Prime Minister S.Batbold. After this, eight documents of the bilateral cooperation were signed. The Finance Minister of Mongolia S.Bayartsogt; and the Vice Minister of Commerce of China Chen Jian signed an intergovernmental agreement on the economic and technical cooperation, and an intergovernmental note on granting a non-refundable aid to be rendered to the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia.

The Minister of Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar; and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Wang Xialong inked an agreement on developing cooperation in the scientific and technological spheres in 2011-2015, and an agreement between the Mongolian Ministry of Education and the Confucius Institute of China.

In addition to it, a memorandum on expanding the bilateral cooperation in the oil sector was signed by B.Ariunsan, the Vice Minister of Mineral Resource and Energy of Mongolia and by Jiang Jiemin, the president of the China National Petroleum Corporation. Then, a cooperation agreement was signed by Ch.Khashchuluun, head of the governing board of the Development Bank of Mongolia and by Li Ruogu, the president of the Export-Import Bank of China.

Other agreements were established between enterprisers of the two countries.
