Power transmission in Mongolia losses reduced

Losses during electricity transmission and distribution in the central region of Mongolia were brought down 19.4% in the one year since April, 2010.

The region distributed 43.1 million kw more of energy in April, 2011 than it did in April, 2010.

A break-up shows the state-owned Central Region Electricity Transmission Network in Mongolia has reduced its deficit by 0.3 unit, Ulaanbaatar Electricity Distribution Network, also state-owned, by 1.9 units, Darkhan Selenge Electricity Distribution Network LLC by 3.1 units, state owned Baganuur Eastern South Region Electricity Distribution Network by 1.2 units and Khuvsgul Energy LLC by 0.3 unit.
