State law, State fist?

You, I, state high officials and everyone have same rights. Everyone believes that court obeys these rules but lately court’s sensational decisions on high officials’ cases are looking more like political revenge. In Mongolian history, 3 MPs of Dem Party were jailed and during the time some media reported that current President N.Bagabandi and MPRP played large role.

Customs high official Kh.Baatar was the next target of political repression. Ts.Elbegdorj, current PM of that time asked Baatar for his resignation. Commissioner General, Chief of the Independent Authority against Corruption Ch.Sangaragchaa had same political pressure. Kh.Baatar was jailed while on duty and the case of Ch.Sangaragchaa is identical.

When President Ts.Elbegdorj took office, he visited all the courts and law organizations and shared views on almost everything. The President called Chief of the IAAC to his office asked for his resignation if he cannot do his job which is to fight against corruption. That was when Ch.Sangaragchaa started to face political pressure.

Ch.Sangaragchaa spied on his worker E.Amarbat without permission from the crown agent. He and his other officials have received 2-2.4 years of sentences for doing so. E.Amarbat is man enough to put his former bosses in jail. In short, the whole case started when President Ts.Elbegdorj asked for him to step down. He did not make the right choices like General Prosecutor M.Altankhuyag and Chief Judge S.Batdelger (they stepped down).

Ch.Sangaragchaa spied on one of his workers to check if he was working against his own bosses. This was against the law and it was an easy capture for the General Prosecutor to pick up. The court sentenced the Chief officials of the IAAC according to the laws stated on the papers but some believes that strong state/political fist knocked out the two chiefs of IAAC.
