Mongolia-Poland consultative meeting held

A regular consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Poland ran Tuesday in Warsaw, Poland.

The meeting was attended by delegations of the two countries led by Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar, the state secretary of Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairsm and by Mr. Jacek Naider, the deputy state secretary of the Poland's Foreign Ministry.

The sides have discussed a present situation of Mongolia-Poland relations and cooperation and its goals. They have underlined an importance of realizing high level visits in order to expand the cooperation in various fields, widening the collaboration in the trade, economics and investment sectors, especially in the mining sphere.

Mentioning that Mongolia will chair the Community of Democracies from July 2011 and Poland–the European Union, they have noted that the two countries have gained new opportunities to boost the collaboration in frames of the Partnership and Cooperation Contract to be signed between Mongolia and the EU, and a cooperation in introducing the EU standards in Mongolia.

Then the parties have shared views on some international issues of mutual interest.
