US professor to lecture on Wildlife and Travels in Mongolia
The Barnes County Historical Society in North Dakota 13 will present an illustrated lecture on Wildlife and Travels in Mongolia by Valley City State University professor Don Hoff on February 17.
Hoff visited China and Mongolia during June 2010 as part of Earth Expeditions, a graduate program sponsored by Miami University and the Cincinnati Zoo to study and participate in wildlife, especially Przewalski horses or Taki ,and Pallas cats conservation and research. The expedition included work with Dr. B Munkhtsog of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and other local officials.
