Student from Mongolia Missing in Maplewood

A young man from Mongolia has been missing since Dec. 21, and police in Maplewood have no leads.

Detective Kerry Daniels of the Maplewood police tells the Daily RFT that Dulguun Sukhee, 20, left the apartment he shared with another Mongolian friend that evening on foot on the way to the Maplewood library.

"We don't know if he ever made it to the library," Daniels says. "Unfortunately his cell phone has been turned off."

The roommate reported him missing. He wasn't enrolled in college, but planned to attend in the spring. Other than his roommate, Sukhee didn't have friends or family around. And the police have not gotten a single call about him.

"Hopefully someone will see him if he's lost his way," Daniels says.

Dulguun Sukhee, 20, was last seen heading to the Maplewood library on foot on Dec. 21. He was carrying a black backpack with a computer in it, and no driver's license. He was wearing a dark green coat, blue jeans and white and blue sneakers. He's about 5'5" and 150 pounds. Anyone with information should call (314) 645-3000.
