Mohammed receives Mongolian Prime Minister

Express confidence that the visit would boost ties between the two countries

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received Prime Minister Batbold Sukhbaatar of Mongolia and his accompanying delegation at Dubai Ruler's Court this morning, in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

After welcoming the prime minister, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his confidence that Sukhbaatar's visit would bear fruit and boost the friendly relations between their countries and peoples.

In response, the Mongolian premier described his great happiness on visiting the UAE, where he hopes to build bridges of cooperation and learn from the country's achievements.

He added that he looks forward to putting such knowledge to use when rolling out upcoming development projects in his homeland. Sukhbaatar went on to praise the UAE's highly-developed infrastructure, as well as the proliferation of schools, universities and hospitals across the country.

Continuing the discussions, the two leaders also conferred about mutually beneficial investment opportunities in Mongolia, with the visiting prime minister highlighting his country's vast agricultural and mineral resources. Also present at the meeting were Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Energy and head of the mission accompanying the Mongolian Prime Minister Mohammed bin Dhaen Al Hameli, Minister of State Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shebani, Commander General of Dubai Police Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Director of Dubai Ruler's Office Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan and other senior officials.
