Judoists to compete in world masters

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The World Masters competitions for the best 16 judoists ranked by the International Judo Federation (IJF) will take place January 15-16, 2011 in Baku city, Azerbaijan.

Mongolia will be represented by six judoists at the competitions. The Mongolia's team has comprised G.Boldbaatar (men's 60 kg), Kh.Tsagaanbaatar (men's 66 kg), S.Miaragchaa (men's 66 kg), S.Nyam-Ochir (men's 73 kg), M.Bundmaa (women's 52 kg) and Ts.Monkhzaya (women's 63 kg). For the time being, D.Tomorkhuleg (men's 60 kg) and B.Temuulen (men's -100 kg) are ranked at 17th place; and M.Urantsetseg (women's 48 kg)--at 18th place of the IJF.

By the way, the World Masters competitions will run under a single-elimination system. In addition to it, the prize fund has USD 200 thousand. The winner will receive USD 6,000, the runner-up--USD 4,000 and the bronze medalist--USD 2,000.
