DP committee finds Government has not met promises

Many members of the National Consultative Committee of the DP, meeting in the Great Hall of the Government House, have expressed concern that several goals set out in the agreement that led to the formation of the coalition government have not been implemented.

For example, the MPRP and the DP had agreed to follow an employment policy that would create about 60,000 work places, and lead to a minimum household income of MNT1 million. Their agreement also pledged to annually allocate MNT300,000 to all families which had a third child, to grant MNT500,000 to all winners of Honored Mother Medal II and MNT1 million to those who held Honored Mother Medal I. It was also proposed to raise salaries and pensions 300% to deal with inflation and to allocate a new family subsidy and children’s allowances.

Altogether 53 such provisions have not been implemented, the Committee was told.
