Three foreign candidates were shortlisted for Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi CEO

Establishment of Erdenet Tavan Tolgoi LCC was included in the last Cabinet Meeting agenda, but it was postponed until the next meeting. The Government prefers that Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi LLC shall be led by a professional with rich working, international fund-raising and professional experience. Therefore, it pays much attention on the selection of candidates.

Over ten professionals applied for the position, including several Mongolian nationals, who have lack of experience in IPO at the foreign markets. Three foreign candidates from Great Britain, Australia and Canada, were shortlisted.

The selection will be finalized near future.
