Mongolia to host annual meeting of APPF
The 19th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF) will be held in Mongolia in January 2011.
Mongolia's parliament speaker D. Demberel was elected president of the 19th Annual Meeting Wednesday.
The last meeting was held in Singapore a year ago. Delegates and parliament speakers from 28 countries discussed such issues as environmental sustainability, terrorism, natural disaster, financial crises and regional collaboration, energy security and climate change.
